The Genesis Of The KV

PM SHRI Kendriya Vidyalaya, No3 Delhi Cantt was established in 1984, is spread over 15 acres and is unique in its field of academic, discipline, and co-curricular activities, impairing value based quality education. The Vidyalaya has been, since its inception performing well not only in academics, but also in co-curricular activities and sports. The medium of instruction for all subjects is English. Except social Studies allowed in both English & Hindi medium. The Vidyalaya has been glorified by a great achievement of the staff and students obtaining its motto of 100% result in AISSCE.

Important Milestone Of Growth

The standard of the Vidyalaya has been maintained because of the leader of the team along with the highly qualified, experienced and dedicated team members. Our school  also conducts Inservice courses for teachers from time to time for updating the knowledge and to aware them with latest methodology and the technology of education. Many workshops for the children are also conducted on frequent basis. Most recently school has adopted all the best practices mentioned in the PM-Shri scheme. There is a system for an academic supervision by the senior educationists, specialist and experts to bring about the desired changes in the academic attitude and aptitude of the teachers.

Present Status Of Classes And Sections

• First Shift- 5 Sections upto class XII (3 Science, 1 Commerce and 1 humanities at XI and XII)
• Second Shift: 4 Sections upto class X, 3 sections in XI and XII (1 Science, 1 Commerce and 1 humanities)

Facilities Available Including Games And Sports Facilities

• It is matter of extreme pleasure to announce that it is not only in academics that the school is taking long strides but also in sports and games as well. The students have brought many laurels to it. Apart from team games several students took part in individual games like athletics (boys) boxing and chess. Our school provides facilities in the following: 1. Basket Ball 2. Volley Ball 3. Foot Ball 4. Judo 5. Badminton 6. Skating
